Danny Sura

Danny Sura is a professional British-South Asian actor fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and English. Born and raised in Birmingham, he moved to Mumbai in 2011 to pursue a career in the Bollywood entertainment industry. Since then, he has worked across film, television, video-on-demand, and theatre, establishing himself as a versatile performer. 2023 marked a milestone year for Danny with the release of IB 71, starring Vidyut Jammwal and Anupam Kher, which received widespread acclaim. His first international feature film, Footprints on Water (alongside Adil Hussain), premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival and had its European debut at UKAFF 2023. Additionally, he has filmed three web series, set to release in 2025 on major OTT platforms. Most recently, Danny starred in the feature film Out of Time, where he took on the challenge of playing three distinct roles, including the main protagonist. Beyond acting, Danny is deeply involved in the industry alongside his wife, 'RRR' actress Ahmareen Anjum. Together, they run Lazy Cat Productions, handle casting under Lazy Cat Casting, and conduct offline and online acting workshops through their acting institute, Act With Confidence.
