Daria Rae Berenato is an actress, entrepreneur, and professional wrestler best known for her time with WWE under the ring name "Sonya Deville" where she was a former WWE champion. She can be seen starring on TNA IMPACT! every Thursday night on AMC as "The S.U.I.T. Daria Rae." Born and raised in Shamong Township, New Jersey, Berenato began acting classes at the age of 14 and produced her first independent film at just 19-laying the groundwork early for a dynamic career in front of and behind the camera. She made history as WWE's first openly gay female wrestler, becoming a trailblazer for LGBTQ+ representation in sports entertainment. Her fearless charisma, authentic voice, and hard-hitting in-ring style earned her a loyal fan base and high-profile roles on WWE SmackDown, Raw, and Tough Enough. Berenato transitioned full time into acting after her departure from WWE, securing leads in ZOMBOIS opposite Tuc Watkins and great supporting roles in HIS, HERS, & OURS opposite Taye Diggs and LAND OF WOLVES. In addition to acting, she co-hosts the candid and comedic lifestyle podcast, Unwrapped with her wife, Toni Berenato, exploring love, identity, pop culture, and life on their suburban homestead. She also joined the Invicta Fighting Championships commentary team in 2024, blending her combat sports knowledge with on-air charisma to elevate women's MMA.
