David Aaron Stone

Born in Kansas City, MO and raised on a small rural family farm in Maricopa, AZ, Dave Stone began making films after leaving the Arizona real estate industry in 2001. In 2004, Dave founded Intrigue Films with business partner Johnny Meier and produced his first feature film entitled "They Know". After completion of this picture, Dave and Johnny came to a decision not to release this film due to its horror film genre. Early in 2007, Dave and Johnny defined the mission of Intrigue Films to "Produce evocative entertaining films and become a vehicle for cultural transformation." With this direction in mind, Dave and Johnny made their second feature film entitled "One Hit From Home". One Hit From Home was released in March 2012 and in less than 4-months grossed more than 300% return on budget. Recently, (2012) Stone graduated from ScreenwritingU's Pro Series and is now part of the Pro Series Alumni. He is available and excited for writing assignments that explore the theme of brokenness to redemption.
