David Summer

David was born in North Wales, to parents Dafydd (David) a civil engineer/ college lecturer and Joan, a nurse and homemaker. In time he left Wales to attend drama college where he attended The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London from 1982 - 85 - he still lives In London . Apart from his various roles in Film ,Television and Commercials, he has been a member of The Royal Shakespeare Company for six years where he appeared in eleven plays either at Stratford/ London or on tour. Other Theatre includes : A season in The Peter Hall Company's West End production of The Merchant of Venice with Dustin Hoffman playing Shylock and a season at The National Theatre in the play Liola directed by Richard Eyre. David has worked and continues to work with some of the best writers and directors the U.K. has ever produced ; including the much missed and lamented directors : Sir Peter Hall, Howard Davies, and Roger Michell.
