Dilara Foscht - Actress / Dancer / Filmmaker Los Angeles-based, Austrian actress Dilara Foscht is an internationally acclaimed performer celebrated for her commanding stage presence and magnetic screen work. Trained at Austria’s prestigious TaO Theatre Company, she has studied with legendary acting & voice coaches including Larry Moss, Lee Strasberg Institute, The Second City, Nancy Banks Studio, Bob Corff, Bruce Eckstut, and Broadway’s Tyler Capa. Dilara gained national attention as a leading contestant on Season 13 of RTL’s Das Supertalent, starred in the German TV pilot I'm Awake, and delivered a celebrated performance in the Graz premiere of Dorian Gray - Pictures of Beauty. Recent credits include the single-cam comedy pilot Comedia dell’Adri and the indie thriller Manhunt (directed by TIFF winner Wayne Wapeemukwa), among others. In 2024 she was invited to Disney’s prestigious Television Directors Workshop as an actress and continues to return to the stage, most recently in Shakespeare’s The Tempest. As a filmmaker, Dilara co-wrote, directed, produced, and starred alongside her identical twin sister in the 2023 award-winning feature Day of a Lion, which took home Best Feature Film and Best Actress at Wales IFF, Montreal IFF, and Idyllwild CinemaFest, earning a "standout performance" mention in Deadline Hollywood. A former championship dancer (ballet, jazz, acrobatic, musical) and experienced equestrian, Dilara is fluent in English and German, conversational in Italian, and a local hire in Los Angeles, New York, London, Vancouver, Vienna, and Graz (EU citizen + valid Canadian work authorization). Her favorite genre is period pieces. In her spare time, she loves singing, dancing, horseback riding, and continually educating herself across creative and intellectual fields.
