Drew Ray Tanner is a Canadian actor born and raised in Victoria, B.C., with bi-coastal roots stretching from British Columbia to Toronto, where his Jamaican-Chinese family immigrated and now calls home. He is also proudly French Canadian on his mother's side, whose family comes from a long line of farmers in Saskatchewan. Drew's love of performing was sparked at age five, putting on magic shows alongside his grandfather in his grandparents' living room. That passion grew through local theatre and an improv troupe he joined at 14. In his senior year, he landed the lead in his school's spring production - and by closing night, his path was set. Since making his professional debut in 2011 and accumulating over 30 credits, Drew earned his breakout role as "Fangs Fogarty" on The CW's hit drama Riverdale (2017), where he was a series regular for six seasons. On the film side, he had a supporting role in the Netflix feature Work It, opposite Jordan Fisher and Sabrina Carpenter, before stepping into leading roles - headlining Boot Camp (2024) and starring in two record-breaking films for Tubi: Sidelined: QB and Me (2024) and Sidelined 2: Intercepted (2025). He also recently wrapped the supernatural horror film Split Rock, and his upcoming film Halloween Store - featuring Simon Rex of the critically acclaimed Red Rocket (2021) - is set for release soon.
