Israeli Academy Award winner Dror Keren is a leading performer in his country - spanning television, film, theater, screenwriting, and stand-up comedy. Dror is a graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. He is a four-time winner of the Israeli Academy Award, twice as Best Actor in a Television Drama, once as Best Actor in a Comedy Series, and once as Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film. He has also won Israel's Theatre Award as an actor, director, and playwright. Dror stars in Band of Spies, a 2025 espionage thriller inspired by the real events surrounding the aftermath of the 1972 Munich Olympics, produced by Ananey-Paramount. In cinema, Dror starred in and co-wrote the screenplays for Farewell Column and Home and took part in Paul Schrader's Adam Resurrected, Ari Folman's Made in Israel, Avi Nesher's The Matchmaker, and Matan Yair's A Room of His Own. His career includes dramatic and comedic roles in original Israeli plays, contemporary drama, and classics of world theatre - including Truffaldino in The Servant of Two Masters, Uncle Vanya in Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, the Father in Florian Zeller's The Son, and Orgon in Molière's Tartuffe. Dror co-adapted the David Grossman novel A Horse Walks into a Bar, winner of the Man Booker International Prize, for the stage. He also performed in the play, which has been running continuously for eight years at Tel Aviv's Cameri Theatre, surpassing 430 performances.
