Dylan Rogers was born in the Chicagoland area to Mary Rogers, a SEO specialist, and DL Rogers, a salesman. His father is African American and his mother is of Irish and Italian ancestry. Dylan grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, before going to Ohio to compete in Track & Field at a collegiate level. Before getting bit by the acting bug, Dylan planned to study Economics. But once he was cast in a friend's play freshman year, he fell in love with the craft. He decided to major in Theater and began to seek out professional work while attending classes and working as a lifeguard. Dylan has made brief TV appearances on Empire (2016), Easy (2017), and Electric Dreams (2018). He also made his film debut in projects such as Crossing (2018), Crshd (2019) with a Tribeca Film Festival debut, and Post(-) (2021) appearing in numerous festivals. Graduating into the pandemic, he continued his professional career performing in theater productions, as well as the series Frame of Reference (2021). Dylan has recently completed filming for the upcoming international romantic comedy, Take Me to Banaue.
