Edmond Laryea

Edmond Laryea is a Nigerian-Ghanaian actor, writer, and producer who was born and raised in Naples, Italy. His television credits include FBI, The Blacklist, East New York, Run the World, Pose, and a recurring guest-star role on the Paramount+ series Sistas. He is set to portray Adonis in the upcoming Amazon MGM film From Italy, with Love, co-written by Tika Sumpter and directed by Tyler Perry. Before transitioning into acting, Edmond spent seven years working in production at CBS Sports. He also served as a radio analyst for Rutgers Football broadcasts and as a television analyst covering high school football throughout the Tri-State area. A former captain of the Rutgers Football team, Edmond earned an invitation to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Rookie Mini-Camp following his senior season. His unique journey from athletics and sports media to film and television continues to shape his work as a storyteller both in front of and behind the camera.
