Emanuel Parvu is a Romanian film director, actor and writer. Born in Bucharest, Romania, he graduated from the National University of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 2006 . His Three Kilometres to the End of the World (2024) premiered in the Official Competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024 - Queer Palm winner. He founded the first Film Acting Master Studies in Romania at Ovidius University in Constanta - alongside Adrian Titieni, Daniela Vitcu and Radu Niculescu. Other notable works as director - Totul e foarte departe (2018), Meda sau Partea nu prea fericita a lucrurilor (2017) and Mikado (2021).
