Eva Habermann

Eva Habermann is a German actress whose career spans more than three decades across film, television, and theatre. She began working in front of the camera at the age of seventeen, first gaining national attention as the host of her own television show. This was followed by a rapid transition into acting, with early roles such as Zev of B3K in Lexx (1996) - The Dark Zone, which made her a familiar face to an international audience. Despite her early success, Habermann has continued to deepen her craft through professional acting training to this day. She has worked with renowned teachers, including internationally acclaimed acting coach Larry Moss, and continues role studies with Michael Klich, voice coaching with Katrin Knappe, singing lessons with Elena Christiansen, and dance training with Jean-Marc Lebon. Since 1993, she has appeared in more than 100 film and television productions, ranging from mainstream cinema and popular TV formats to independent and arthouse films. Her work includes psychologically driven dramas, genre films, and character-focused storytelling that deliberately challenges expectations. Alongside her screen work, she has maintained a strong connection to the stage, performing in Jedermann in Weimar in 2024 and Das Blaue vom Himmel in 2025. In addition to her work as an actress, Eva Habermann is the founder of the film production company Fantomfilm GmbH. The company focuses on independent feature films with strong creative voices and unconventional perspectives, such as The Ugly Truth (2022), for which she received numerous Best Actress awards at international festivals, including the Hollywood Gold Awards, Oceanside International Film Festival, Prison City Film Festival, Red Dragon Creative Awards, Miami Indie Film Awards, and the Darbhanga International Film Festival. Habermann also writes screenplays and is closely involved in the creative development of her projects from an early stage, expanding her artistic scope as a filmmaker with the same curiosity and intensity that characterize her acting. Beyond film, she is active as a singer and released her first song, Lioness, in 2025. Habermann recently published her first book, Learning to Embrace Stage Fright(2025), which focuses on practical and emotional strategies for dealing with stage fright. Drawing on personal experience and professional insight, the book explores how fear can be understood, accepted, and transformed into creative energy. Next, Habermann will be part of the cast of Horst Schlemmer sucht das Glück, alongside German comedian Hape Kerkeling, scheduled for cinema release in March 2026. Author Fantomfilm
