Evan Assante

Originally from the Carolinas, Evan began his acting journey on the local stage. It was there that he found his love of acting working in productions which included The Aristocats, Lion King, Jr., Les Miserables and The Wizard of Oz. After working a bit commercially, Evan took the leap into tv and film with several indie films including The Adventures of Rufus with Director Ryan Bellgardt and Run With the Hunted from Director John Swab. His break came in 2022 when he landed a major role in the award-winning Apple feature, Cha Cha Real Smooth, written and directed by Cooper Raiff. Evan played the role of David opposite Cooper, Leslie Mann, Dakota Johnson, Brad Garrett and more. Evan enjoys writing novels and screenplays as well as art and music. He began piano lessons at 6 and has gone on to be proficient in guitar, mandolin, ukulele, bass guitar and drums. He has experience in soccer, horseback riding, and loves to swim. He is an avid reader, loves history and science and is a big fan of Legos, Star Wars, and comics (Marvel and DC). He also enjoys playing video and board games with his family and making short films with his friends.
