Fra Fee is a celebrated actor known for his versatility across stage and screen. He will next lead the cast of Netflix's highly anticipated psychological thriller Unchosen, alongside Asa Butterfield, Molly Windsor, Siobhan Finneran, and Christopher Eccleston. Created by Julie Gearey (Intergalactic), the six-part series delves into the life of Rosie (Windsor), a devoted wife and mother whose chance encounter with Sam (Fee), an escaped convict, propels her toward a path of dangerous self-discovery. Fra is also set to star in Zack Snyder's long-awaited passion project The Last Photograph - reuniting with his Rebel moon co-star Stuart Martin. The film has recently completed filming in Iceland, Colombia and Los Angeles. Last year, Fra co-led BBC's International Emmy award-winning drama Lost Boys & Fairies alongside Sion Daniel Young, portraying the tender journey of a gay couple navigating the adoption process. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Cardiff's queer scene, the series was directed by James Kent (The capture, Testament of youth) and received both Attitude Magazine's TV Award and the MIPCom Cannes Diversify Award for its representation of LGBTQIA+ stories. He recently returned to the stage as Katurian in Gate Theatre Dublin's production of The Pillowman. From Martin McDonagh, the award-winning writer of The beauty queen of leenane, The banshees of inisherin and In bruges, and directed by Olivier Award winner Lyndsey Turner, the play is a savage tale about the stories we tell to keep the monsters at bay. Additionally, he joined Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell earlier this year in the Apple TV+ eight episode thriller Prime Target - with Ridley Scott amongst the exec producers. Fra returned in 2025 to his key role as the enigmatic Regent Balisarius in Zack Snyder's epic space opera Rebel Moon: Part Two - The Scargiver, alongside Sofia Boutella, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, and Anthony Hopkins. As the ruthless ruler of the Imperium, Fra's Balisarius plays a pivotal role in Snyder's saga, first introduced in Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire. Both installments of Snyder's big-budget franchise quickly reached the No.1 spot worldwide on Netflix, with the first film amassing approximately 63 million views within its first 10 days. Balisarius' story is further expanded in Snyder's Director's Cut of the films. Fra's further on-screen appearances include Kazi in Marvel's Disney+ series Hawkeye, Courfeyrac in Tom Hooper's film adaptation of Les Misérables, and roles in Disney's Cinderella (2021), Animals with Holliday Grainger, The Laureate with Tom Hughes and Dianna Agron, and Pixie with Olivia Cooke and Ben Hardy. He also voiced Harry Huffman in Netflix's Scrooge: A Christmas Carol. On stage, Fra has delivered a series of acclaimed performances. He starred as Edmund in the Almeida Theatre's King Lear, with the Financial times calling him "the sharpest person on the stage." He won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Ferryman (dir. Sam Mendes), performing in both the West End and on Broadway, and received further acclaim for his "sensational" turn as The Emcee in the 2022 revival of Cabaret at The Kit Kat Club. His stage credits also include Les Misérables in London's West End.
