Gabriele Fabbro

Named by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the 2022 screenwriters to watch, Gabriele Fabbro is an Italian film director, screenwriter, and producer born in Milan, Italy, in 1996. He holds a BFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy. Since 2011, he has written, directed, and produced more than 30 projects, including feature films, short films, music videos, and commercials. His latest feature film, Trifole, premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, followed by theatrical releases in the United States, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The film was also in contention for the Academy Awards and Italy’s David di Donatello Awards. Fabbro’s debut feature, The Grand Bolero, premiered at the Austin Film Festival and was later released theatrically in Italy in 2022. The film is distributed internationally through Amazon Prime Video. His short film 8 screened at the Venice Film Festival. He also directed the music video for "If You Run" by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, which was selected for the Raindance Film Festival.
