Gene Rathswohl

Gene Rathswohl is a Los Angeles based actor and producer. Extremely versatile, he has played roles on network television, feature films as well as on stage, playing roles from Shakespeare to David Mamet. Raised in Austin, Texas, Gene started his acting career in San Diego, CA. performing in locally produced film, television, and theater productions, most notably at the renowned Old Globe Theater in Balboa Park. Living in Los Angeles since 2012, Gene has supported his talent by training with Howard Fine and at the Upright Citizens Brigade studio. Known for his recurring role on Criminal Minds, Gene has also worked on independent films and new media projects. Outside of pursuing acting work, Gene is very active, enjoying golf, yoga, hitting the gym when he can and hiking on trails throughout Southern California. A world traveler, Gene is also an amateur art collector and can be found in LA area natural food stores.
