George Middlebrook is best known for his recurring role as Officer Trackson on Tyler Perry Studios' #1 Netflix drama Beauty in Black (2024-). A Detroit-born actor, producer and stunt performer, Middlebrook is recognized for his towering 6'4" presence, resonant baritone and athletic, camera-ready intensity. He broke out on stage in the theatrical hit My Brother Marvin - The Marvin Gaye Story before transitioning to film and television. His screen credits include Ralph Scott in Affirmation (2022), Darius Johnson (also credited as producer) in Toe the Line (2022), Champ in Undying Love (2022) and Brandon in The Final Play (2024). A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Middlebrook is also an accomplished stunt performer and action coordinator with experience in fight choreography, tactical training, precision driving and physical stunt doubling. Grounded in years of athletic training-football, boxing and track-and educated in sports and performance studies at Ferris State University, he blends disciplined physicality with dramatic nuance in every role. Now based in Atlanta, Middlebrook continues to expand his work in front of and behind the camera, developing projects that combine drama, action and purpose-driven storytelling.
