Gopal Datt

Gopal Datt is an Indian actor and writer. He studied acting at the National School of Drama (NSD) where he got in on his first attempt. Gopal Datt started as a theatre artist in 1999 until he got his first starring role in Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. He also went on to star in the blockbuster Tere Naam, Samrat & Co., and the National Award-winning Filmistaan. From movies to web series to ads and YouTube sketches, Datt has done it all! Gopal has a knack for comedy which he has shown brilliantly in The Office, TVF Bachelors, TVF Pitchers, AIB sketches, etc. He has been a part of the show A Week That Wasn't for the last 8 years and considers this his steady job. He tries not to repeat his roles so as to not get stereotyped. He has also acted in a television serial called Drishtaant, directed by Pankaj Kapoor. If having all these achievements under his belt was not enough, Datt is a writer and a lyricist who has penned songs for films like Budhia Singh - Born To Run and David. With his calm demeanor and his ability to focus on the role and the script, Gopal Datt is a powerhouse of talent.
