Grant Roa

Grant Roa is a New Zealand actor and producer whose career spans more than 25 years across film, television and documentary. Beginning as an actor, he has developed a diverse career working both in front of and behind the camera on internationally recognised productions including Avatar, The Hobbit trilogy, Alita: Battle Angel, Pete's Dragon, Gemini Man and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. His experience working alongside world-class filmmakers has shaped his passion for character-driven storytelling and large-scale productions. Alongside his acting career, Grant is developing and producing original film and television projects with international appeal, including the feature film Tū, the premium documentary series Building a Star, and the children's animated series Kiwi Keepers. He continues to work as both an actor and producer, championing stories from Aotearoa New Zealand for global audiences.
