Greg Furman

Greg Furman is a multi-award-winning director, writer, and actor based in Los Angeles whose work spans film, television, and AAA game-franchises. He was raised in New York, the son of an engineer and a teacher, and began his career in the city’s theater scene. He performed in stage productions including Twelve Angry Men (Off-Broadway), Into the Woods, and As You Like It, while also working behind the scenes as a board member of the NY-based non-profit, Fundamental Theater Project. During that time, he helped produce 3D-Hamlet, which featured performers such as Alec Baldwin, Anthony Rapp, and Kate Mulgrew, and was presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Furman's early transition into on-camera work began with The Last Keepers (2013), acting alongside Natt Wolff, Virginia Madsen and Aidan Quinn, before leading roles would surface in independent films including JOE, Wing Dad, and Flight 666 among a slew of supporting roles. His performance in JOE-which he also wrote, directed, edited, and scored-contributed to the film’s success on the international festival circuit, where it received multiple awards including Best Comedy (BIFF). The project has since been developed into a larger series concept directed by Furman, starring Richard Kind. In television and animation, he has appeared on The Goldbergs and voiced Thor in Marvel Zombies (2025), marking his debut working with Marvel. He has also built an extensive body of work in voice-over and performance capture, including multiple roles in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, as well as projects with studios such as Activision, Crystal Dynamics, and Audible.
