Gregory M. Mitchell

Gregory M. Mitchell, an American actor known for his roles in Beyond the Gates (CBS), Greenleaf (OWN), A Costa Rican Wedding (Hallmark), The Perfect In-Laws (Lifetime), Bad Nanny (LMN), Kountry Wayne skits (YouTube) and many more. Born in Fort Pierce, Florida to James and Ernestine Mitchell, he grew up in Detroit, Washington, DC and Fort Pierce. The tale of these three cities shaped his views of the World. He was exposed to violence and negativity early, but his dreams and aspirations remained strong. He credits his family and friends with providing him with the love and support needed to be fearlessness, strong, driven and determined to succeed. After graduating from Fort Pierce Central high school in 1985, he moved to Atlanta to pursue an engineering degree, but found entrepreneurship to be his passion. He's owned and operated businesses since 2003, selling his marketing agency and promotional products company in July 2016. On November 12, 2016, he realized that his childhood dream of acting was attainable and accessible in Atlanta, the new Hollywood South. He launched a campaign to pursue his childhood dream and worked on the set of Greenleaf, a popular series on Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). He expresses gratitude to Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson, Clement Virgo, and other producers and directors for their guidance and support throughout his journey.
