Ignacy Grzegorz Rybarczyk was born in Zielona Góra, Poland. He is a stage, TV and film actor. His mother tongue is Polish but he’s also fluent in English and French. He was educated in Poland and Ireland. In year 2006, Ignacy has graduated with a masters degree in Sociocultural Animation of Theatre at University of Zielona Góra. In Poland he also trained in the arts of mime, clowning and commedia dell’arte at ‘Teatr Nikoli’ in Cracow. In Ireland he received actor’s training at the Gaiety School of Acting. After his graduation from the University in Poland, he moved to Dublin where he was teaching drama at Marino College for Further Education. There he also formed a theatre company called ‘Marino Moon Theatre Troupe’ for which he produced and directed 'O'Maley's Bar' a devised show based on Nick Cave's song of the same title and Janusz Glowacki's 'Hunting Cockroaches' that has premiered at the 'Five Lamps Arts Festival' and later in the year 2011 it was performed at the D-Light Studios, Dublin. Ignacy has began his professional stage and film journey in Ireland, when Niamh Gleeson wrote a play ‘Aisling & Pavel’ with him in mind which has toured in Ireland and Wales in 2009. Shortly after, he would be cast in character parts in TV shows and feature films such as ‘Ripper Street’ BBC, ‘Le Bureau des Légendes’ Canal+, ‘The Informer’ Werner Bros, ‘Acceptable Risk’ RTE and ‘The Agency’ Paramount+, to name a few. In 2014, he has relocated to Northern Ireland where he lived in a small fishing village in the heart of the Mourne mountains. During that time he was teaching drama in local schools whilst occasionally acting in theatre, films and TV. From 2021 until 2024 he was an actor in community theatre ‘Donard Theatre Group’ in Newcastle Co. Down, where he would play various parts of Italian, American and Polish heritage. In summer 2025 he has relocated to France, where he now lives with his family. There, he continues to work as an actor.
