J. Bernard Calloway

J. Bernard Calloway, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, cultivated his passion for performance early on, earning a BA in Theatre from Alabama State University and honing his craft with an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University. Calloway stars in the three-time Emmy® Award-nominated The Ms. Pat Show on BET+, bringing depth and heart to the role of Terry Carson-a character marked by unwavering love and genuine understanding. Musically inclined, Calloway enjoys singing and honing his skills on the trap set (drums) and piano. Beyond his professional achievements, Calloway finds profound fulfillment in his family life, cherishing the unwavering support of his wife Carmen Ruby Floyd and son Jacob. An athlete at heart, he's enjoyed a lifelong passion for football, having played it since the age of ten through his college years, and remains active in extracurricular pursuits such as basketball, softball, and rekindling his love for tennis.
