Jack Copland

Jack Copland is a Canadian actor known for his work in film, television, and theatre. He has appeared in Murdoch Mysteries (CBC) and voices a lead role in Total Drama Island (Cartoon Network). His performance as 'Henri' in the psychological thriller Pink Rabbit earned festival selections at Bucheon (South Korea) and Imagine (Amsterdam). Originally from Kelowna, BC, and raised in Mississauga, Jack grew up impersonating teachers, prank-calling friends, and playing competitive sports. He studied business and theatre at Western University, where he discovered his love for acting, earning a Best Actor nomination for his role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He later trained at the George Brown Theatre School. On stage, Jack has led productions such as Twelve Angry Men ("truly powerful performance" - Stratford Festival Reviews), Venus in Fur, and The Importance of Being Earnest. He has performed with Theatre on the Ridge and the Newmarket National Play Festival. Beyond acting, Jack develops projects with the production company Grin Films. Expanding into filmmaking, he wrote and directed Going Dutch, an international short film shot in the Netherlands. His screenplays have reached the quarter-finals of the Austin Film Festival and Scriptapalooza.
