Jackie Moore is an actress, screenwriter, and director based in Los Angeles. Early in her career, she worked as a model in New York City before transitioning into film and television, appearing opposite John Leguizamo and Vincent D’Onofrio in early film projects. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she established herself as a leading presence in independent film and television. Moore is known for starring in Lifetime thrillers including Deadly Desire opposite Eric Roberts, as well as Love by Design with Joey Lawrence and Dee Wallace. Her film credits also include Vendetta opposite Theo Rossi, You Can Never Go Home Again with Omar Gooding, Out of Hand alongside Billy Baldwin and Pierson Fodé, as well as Party from Hell, Nightmare Best Friend, Dawn, and The Charisma Killers with Vanessa Angel and Vernon Wells. Known for portraying emotionally layered characters, Moore has built a reputation for bringing both vulnerability and strength to complex female leads. Her television work includes roles on Barry (HBO), Westworld, The Mindy Project, The Odd Couple, and Vital Signs. In addition to acting, Moore is also an accomplished writer and filmmaker. She has sold two feature screenplays and expanded into directing with the short film Second Shift, which has earned multiple directing awards on the festival circuit. She also created, directed, and starred in her own television pilot and is developing several projects, including her first narrative feature film, now in pre-production. Moore is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory and Grad Revue Program and has also trained at The Groundlings and The New Collective Acting Studio under Greg Braun. A trained singer and visual artist, she is known for bringing emotional depth, creativity, and authenticity to every project she undertakes.
