The lovely, vivacious, and smart-looking Jelena Gavrilović was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and raised in nearby Lazarevac, where she completed both primary and secondary school. She graduated in acting from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Her first major thespian challenge came in 2010, when she was cast as the seductive Russian girl Nina in "The Beautiful Blue Danube", an erotically charged drama directed by Darko Bajić. For this role, she received an award at the Film Meetings in Niš, the most prestigious Serbian festival celebrating acting achievements. After several television roles, Jelena Gavrilović attracted the attention of both Serbian and international audiences when she starred alongside Srđan Todorović and Sergej Trifunović in the controversial thriller "A Serbian Film", directed by Srđan Spasojević. Thanks to her undeniable talent and excellent command of English, Jelena began receiving roles in foreign films shot in Serbia, appearing in titles such as "Human Zoo", "Cat Run", and "Everly". Jelena Gavrilović is also a gifted singer. She voiced Elsa in the Serbian version of "Frozen", and her rendition of "Let It Go" was ranked among the top 25 interpretations of the song by Disney. Her musical talent has earned her roles in stage productions such as "Grease" and "Hair". She combined her love of acting and singing in the second season of the TV show "Your Face Sounds Familiar", where she became one of the most popular participants. In early 2016, she starred in the comedy "Double Trouble", a film based on one of Serbia’s most popular television series.
