Jennifer Field is a California native born and raised in the Bay Area, and of Korean, English, Irish, and German descent. After winning Miss Asian America and earning a bachelor's in theatre, she made her way down to Los Angeles with no savings to speak of, a connection to work at a nightclub, and the determination to make her attorney father and immigrant mother proud. With training that ranges from The Groundlings to Marin Shakespeare Company, Jennifer has a wide range as an actress. Her love of performing began on the stage with her local community theaters, and she also trained in dance and voice. An experienced news reporter and host, she hosted and co-created the award-winning, conspiracy theory comedy podcast The Unofficial Official Story with Koji Steven Sakai and Dwayne Perkins. Recurring acting roles include playing the notorious Assistant D.A. Jennifer Arden on ABC's General Hospital, and fan-favorite Dr. Ruby on the Primetime Emmy and Peabody Award winning series Artificial (Twitch). She's also recurred on The Old Man (FX) and Roswell, New Mexico (CW), and is a Television Academy member. Her proudest achievement to date, has been raising her 12 year old son. An outdoors enthusiast who runs, rides horses, and snorkels, Jennifer has hiked nearly every National Park in the western United States.
