Jeremy Carr discovered his passion for acting as a student at Davidson Fine Arts School in Augusta, Georgia. A lifelong movie enthusiast, he spent his teenage years working at a video rental store, making short films with friends, and documenting local skateboarding adventures with a camcorder; early experiences that sparked a lifelong love for storytelling. While earning his degree in music, Jeremy performed in several bands, creating opportunities to explore both stage and screen performance. His acting career has since included appearances in film and television projects, while his work behind the camera has led to numerous award-winning productions as a writer, director, and producer. Jeremy is an actor, filmmaker, and acting teacher trained in the Sanford Meisner tradition. He studied the Meisner Acting Technique for two years under Kelley Hinman, a direct student of Sanford Meisner, and has continued his development through the Meisner Institute's Designated Meisner Teacher Training Program. He also trained at the Film Actors Studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. As the founder of Patron Saint Films, Jeremy specializes in independent filmmaking and helping actors create truthful, grounded performances that translate authentically on camera. His teaching emphasizes instinct, emotional honesty, and genuine moment-to-moment connection. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master's degree in Theology. His work has earned recognition for acting, writing, and directing. He is the creator of the streaming series Married to Crazy (available on Tubi, Amazon, and other platforms), the upcoming anthology series Thresholds, and numerous other independent film productions.
