Born in Newport, Kentucky, Jerry Trimble's life is a story of transformation, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. As a child, Jerry struggled with bullying, fear, insecurity, anxiety, and depression. Everything changed at age 13 when he watched Bruce Lee in *The Chinese Connection*. Inspired by Lee's confidence, discipline, and spirit, Jerry began studying Taekwon Do and committed himself to becoming stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally. He was never bullied again. By age 15, he had earned his first degree black belt and became one of the top teen point fighters in the Midwest. At 18, he won the Kentucky State Kickboxing Championship, and at 19, he moved to Atlanta to pursue his dream of becoming a world champion. Competing under the nickname "Golden Boy," Jerry rose through the ranks of professional kickboxing, capturing multiple titles before achieving his lifelong dream in 1986 when he won both the PKA and PKC World Kickboxing Championships. Known for his lightning-fast hook kick, clocked at 118 mph, he earned a reputation as one of the fastest and most exciting fighters of his era. At age 28, Jerry set his sights on a new challenge and moved to Hollywood. Remarkably, his first two auditions resulted in lead villain roles, including opportunities to work alongside martial arts legends Jet Li and Bolo Yeung. Those early successes launched a professional acting career that has spanned more than three decades. His film and television credits include over 65 productions, working alongside some of the industry's most respected talent, including Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in *Heat*. Additional credits include *Mission: Impossible III*, *Charlie's Angels*, *The Green Hornet*, *Supernatural*, *The Flash*, *Chesapeake Shores*, *Tracker*, and many others. Beyond his accomplishments in sports and entertainment, Jerry is passionate about helping others overcome the same fears and challenges he faced growing up. Drawing from a lifetime of personal experience, he speaks to young people throughout the United States and Canada about courage, resilience, self-belief, and personal growth. His work has earned numerous honors, including the Joe Lewis Eternal Warrior Award and induction into the World Kickboxing League Hall of Fame. A dual citizen of the United States and Canada, Jerry continues to work as an actor, speaker, mentor, and advocate for personal transformation. His message is rooted in a simple philosophy forged through decades of adversity, competition, and growth: fear is a lie, courage builds confidence, and everything in life is training.
