Jim Main

Jim Main was born in 1959 in Cornwall, England where he was brought up and educated. On leaving full time education he sailed as an Marine engineering officer before becoming a commercial Diver in the international oilfields. A change of career into the Police Service led to a 26 year career as a Detective within serious crime and homicide investigation roles and eventually as a Detective Inspector within the intelligence community. His early desire to act resurfaced when in 2012 he started working as a support artist in major film productions and then as an actor in smaller productions for Television and Cinema. Jim is a member of Equity and registered with Spotlight. He is a character actor with a wide range of emotional content and voice range supported by a rugged look etched by years of experience in hostile physical, geographical and social environments.
