Jimmy Tatro is an American actor, writer, director and producer known for his distinct comedic perspective and standout work spanning digital media, film and television. He first gained attention as the creator and star of the popular YouTube series "Life According to Jimmy," which amassed hundreds of millions of views and led to opportunities in film and television, including a breakout role in Sony’s blockbuster comedy "22 Jump Street" opposite Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. He later earned widespread acclaim as the lead of Season 1 of Netflix’s "American Vandal," receiving a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for Best Actor. Tatro has since appeared in a range of studio films and television series, including Searchlight’s "Theatre Camp" with Molly Gordon, Ben Platt, and Noah Galvin, Paramount’s "Scream 7," Nick Stoller’s Amazon Studios comedy "You’re Cordially Invited" alongside Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon and "The King of Staten Island" with Pete Davidson. He memorably played Bill on "Modern Family" and starred opposite Topher Grace in ABC’s comedy series "Home Economics." In addition to acting, Tatro also writes and directs his own projects. He created, directed and starred in 3 seasons of the cult-favorite comedy series "The Real Bros of Simi Valley," later expanding into "The Real Bros of Simi Valley: The Movie," which he also wrote, directed, and produced.
