Joe Finfera

Joe Finfera was born on September 20, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from the University of Baltimore in 1991. His career started in the fitness industry where he competed in bodybuilding. After winning the AAU Mr. Maryland Novice short division in 1993, he began a career in fitness modeling by posing for the cover of The Landmark Calendar "Image Is" in 1993. Joe Finfera went on to appear in numerous fitness magazines & posters including Men's Workout and Men's Exercise. He also appeared in the fitness book The Complete Book of Abs which sold in Barnes & Noble all across America for over 20 years. He continued fitness modeling until 2006 appearing in the "Man & Machine Calendar". After completing college Joe moved to New York City and enrolled in The Herbert Berghof Acting Studio and studied with Joseph Daly and Lenore Harris. While in New York he in performed in various Off-off Broadway theater productions, from Playing the role of Pony in "Suburbia" with the Ghost Light Repertory to Lt. Williams in "365 days", performed at New York Performance Works. Joe Finfera's first television appearance was in 1992 on an MTV show called You Wrote You Watch It, hosted by Jon Stewart. He has had numerous walk-on roles in the soaps One Life to Live, Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. He has worked on numerous commercials for brands such as Bank of America, Nike, Heineken Beer and Powerball. In the early 2000's, Joe guest starred on three episodes of the NBC sitcom Jesse starring Christina Applegate. In 2019, he was cast as Mr. Desmond on the Lifetime movie series Crazy Love, Social Media Meltdown. In 2020, he was cast as Detective Jarvis in the Critics' Choice nominated show Betrayed. In 2021 Joe starred in an episode that had over 17 million views on the Dhar Mann YouTube series. In 2022 Joe was cast as a series regular on the Lifetime Movie Network Series Keeping Up With The Joneses with Vivica A Fox, Ted McGinley & Michael Pare'. Additionally, Joe has performed numerous supporting roles in Lifetime, The Lifetime Movie Network, Hulu, Hallmark, Amazon, The Travel Channel & the ION Network.
