Johnny Ramey

Johnny Ramey is a Juilliard-trained American actor whose work spans film, television, and the stage. Born in Fresno, California, Ramey began performing at a young age before refining his craft at The Juilliard School in New York City, where he trained in classical performance and contemporary drama-an artistic foundation that continues to shape his work across mediums. Ramey is widely recognized for his role as Elias Taylor in the Netflix feature Rustin, produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions. His film work also includes prominent roles in projects such as A Baby at Any Cost, Calling for Love, 12 Games of Christmas, and the thriller Great White Waters. On television, he has appeared in series including Royal Pains and Forever, among other network and streaming productions. In addition to his screen work, Ramey has built a strong reputation in theater, performing extensively in On/Off-Broadway productions and major regional theaters across the United States.
