Josh Collins

Josh is a Canadian actor and filmmaker, born in Gander, Newfoundland. Josh grew up in small towns across Alberta, slowly finding passion for the creative arts and settled into performing as a craft. A graduate of Vancouver Film School's Acting Program, he launched his career in Vancouver, where he has steadily built a reputation for playing gruff, imposing characters layered with an unexpected vulnerability. With a commitment to craft, Josh has continued his training under a range of respected local instructors, honing a classically rooted technique that brings depth and nuance to performances. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Josh has expanded his focus to include writing, producing, and directing. He has written several screenplays, some of which are currently in early stages of pre-production, marking his emergence as a multifaceted creative force in the industry.
