Julius Charles Ritter is a writer and director whose storytelling journey began in front of the camera as an actor. After attending the film-focused John Burroughs High School, his passion shifted behind the scenes, where he honed his voice as an independent filmmaker. His micro-budget debut feature, What Did Deborah Do, premiered at the Mammoth Film Festival in 2023 and went on to win Film Threat's Best Indie Drama award in 2024. He continues to craft compelling, character-driven stories as a writer and producer, with a sharp eye for emotion and nuance.
