Kate Lush

Kate Lush is a British Intimacy Coordinator and Movement Coach. Kate co-founded in 2020 the Global Intimacy Coordination company, Safe Sets (ZA) which she runs out of South Africa with the South African Film Director and Intimacy Coordinator, Sara Blecher. While based in South Africa, amongst other credits Kate Lush was the Lead Intimacy Coordinator on Warrior Season 3 (HBO), Fatal Seduction Season 1 (Netflix), Blood & Water Season 3 (Netflix), Fraksie (kykNET), One Piece Season 1, and was the South African intimacy coordinator on productions such as The Power (Amazon Prime) & 1923 Season 1 (Paramount +). In addition to intimacy coordinating for both local and international TV and Film Kate, with the Safe Sets team has trained 2 cohorts of intimacy coordinators, fully funded by Netflix (2021-EMEA Region/India and Brazil) and Netflix and the NFVF (2022 South Africa and the Middle East). Kate Lush is also an award nominated professional actor, specializing in physical theatre and movement, which she also taught at leading British Drama Schools between 2007 & 2019. Kate Lush moved into acting in film and TV in 2011, and first intimacy coordinated for both stage and screen in 2019.
