Ken Appledorn is an American-Spanish actor based in Spain, working across film and television in both English and Spanish. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, he has built a career bridging the U.S. and European industries. He is a series regular in El Centro and is known for his role as Bill Gallagher in Arde Madrid, directed by Paco León. His film credits include The Platform 2, Trinidad alongside Paz Vega, Julia Pastrana with Eduardo Noriega, and Rifkin’s Festival directed by Woody Allen. He first gained recognition as a breakout lead in the viral series Malviviendo, beginning a long-standing collaboration with director David Sainz. His work spans collaborations with directors including Bart Layton, Charlotte Colbert, Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, and Mariano Cohn. A recipient of the Biznaga de Plata for Best Actor at the Málaga Film Festival, Appledorn holds dual U.S.-Spanish citizenship. He is a native English speaker fluent in Castilian Spanish and is currently the host of Cervantes en el mundo for RTVE.
