Kevin Kent

Kevin Kent dedicated over two decades to serving as a U.S. Navy SEAL, completing nine deployments around the world in his 21-year career. Heavily relied upon as a combat sniper, explosive and mechanical breacher, open and closed-circuit diving supervisor, small boat coxswain, military parachute jumpmaster, air operations trainer, UAV pilot/ navigator, small arms marksmanship instructor, high-speed driving and executive protection specialist, he was decorated for combat valor. Following his military service, he honed his skills in the film industry as an actor, stuntman, weapons trainer, and military/police technical advisor. Learning from several legendary mentors, he's trained many actors and film industry personnel in tactics and procedures enabling them to flourish onscreen in many roles. While not completely abandoning his former role in special operations, he provided specialized security and executive protection for high-net-worth individuals and celebrities as well as serving on a U.S. Marshal Task Force and reserve police officer, executing high-risk arrest warrants for seven years. Seeking deeper knowledge of filmmaking, Kevin pursued a film degree which prepared him to write, direct and produce several film projects and co-host two streaming programs, "Bar Talk Live" and "The Liberty Risk Show" under his K-Squared Production Company (K-Squared.cc). His short film projects "Flight," "[CUR]sed," and "Exploited" have earned numerous film festival accolades after his graduation in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in digital cinematography. Based in San Diego, CA with his wife of 23 years and their three children, he continues to develop various film and television projects while seeking heavier responsibilities as a writer, military stunt coordinator, VFX/ ADR advisor and second unit director. Recent VFX/ ADR advisor credits include "Way of the Warrior Kid" and "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters"; military stunt coordinator and technical advisor credits for "Here Comes the Flood" and "Nemesis" for Netflix; script consultant on "G20" "Obliterated" and all four seasons of "Jack Ryan."
