Kym Jackson is a UK born actress who moved to Logan City, Australia at 3 years old. Her recent and upcoming releases include 'We Bury The Dead' with Daisy Ridley and Brenton Thwaites, 'Born To Lose' with Sarah Pidgeon and Dylan Arnold, 'Pellett' with Cindy Pickett and Lyndsay Wagner, 'The Cryptid' opposite Emmy winner Charlie Adler, and 'Wild Card' with David Arquette and Andrea Lomas. Kym attended John Paul College and worked as a tour guide and performer at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, before booking her first feature film, Scooby Doo. She moved to Hollywood in 2004, where she lived for 16 years. During that time, she had a slew of recurring and guest starring roles in prominent series, and played the series regular role of Neela, Queen of the Vikings in ABC's $14M adventure pilot 'Triangle', alongside Mike Vogel, Sarah Catherine Hook, Mallory Jansen and Edwin Hodge. She also wrote the Amazon best selling textbook 'The Hollywood Survival Guide For Actors' and founded the actor education platform 'Secret Actor Society'. During the pandemic, Kym returned to Australia and had a baby boy, Jackson Robert Steel to husband Andrew Steel. While there, she produced her first feature film 'Other You', starring Luke Ford, and executive produced 'All My Friends are Back in Brisbane' (2026 winner: Best QLD Film at GCFF) with Andrew Steel and Dan Ewing. Kym is a dog lover, beach girl, Mum, and chocolate addict, now based between West Hollywood, CA, Atlanta, GA, and Sydney, Australia.
