Marcus Lawrence

Marcus is a seasoned actor with over 20 years of acting experience. A versatile actor of both stage and film, and a wide range of roles in the DC/MD/VA area. From Dionysus in "The Bacchae" onstage, to SGT Major Lackly in the upcoming feature "Talons Of The Phoenix" (Bullet Time Productions), Marcus plays the "rough and tumble leading man" and antiheroes with relish. Marcus began training in an acting class at Northern VA Community College, but eventually became eager to start his career by hitting the theater auditions, and learn from that experience. Learning from the many directors such as Ian Allen or Christine Lange, Marcus continues to learn to hone his natural talent from the talented people he works with to this day. Marcus continues to be one of the hardest working actors in his market, with films and shows in all stages of development. He is one of the more sought - after film actors in his area, and is perpetually cast in various projects. Known for his presence, rugged good looks and charm, Marcus makes even the worst character seem relatable. He comfortably plays antiheroes with an innate charisma, and commands attention with ease.
