Marisha Triantafyllidou is a Greek actress, dramaturg and translator who has built a versatile career across theatre, film and television. She studied acting at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece and began her professional work in theatre, developing a reputation for nuanced performances and a strong command of classical and contemporary material. She has appeared in acclaimed films including Walk (2014) and Her Job (2018), receiving awards in Greece and internationally, and reached wider recognition with her role as Merope in Angela Schanelec's Music (2023), which premiered in competition at the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival. In addition to acting, she has contributed creatively as a dramaturg and co-developed the short film Titloi telous (2012), which premiered at the 2012 Venice Film Festival and was nominated for a European Film Award. She has also taught acting at the National Theatre Drama School and private institutions, mentoring new generations of performers, and serves as a member of the European Film Academy and of the board of the Hellenic Film Academy. Alongside her professional achievements, she balances her career with family life as a mother of two, maintaining a presence in both stage and screen projects while shaping contemporary Greek performance culture.
