Matt Sharp

Matt Sharp was born on in Austin, TX, the middle of three children to Ed and Debbie Sharp. Raised in a middle class upbringing, his family moved numerous times throughout the country, finally settling down in Florida by his high school years. From an early age, he excelled at sports, eventually becoming a premier prep baseball player with aspirations of becoming a major league baseball player. Running out of opportunities after college, he settled down in Florida, having successful careers in both real estate and corporate finances. A chance encounter with a close friend and professional actor changed all that. After assisting his friend with a video audition, he was hooked, choosing to make acting and screenwriting his life. It didn't take long to find his feet, as he found steady work as an actor in numerous independent films and commercials. All while building up an impressive screenwriting resume, racking up awards and writing assignments along the way. He continues to flourish in the business, expanding his presence as a professional actor and screenwriter.
