Melissa is an award-winning, award-nominated actress recognized for her work in film and television. Over the years, she has received honors and nominations, including Actress of the Year, Best Lead Actress, and Best Supporting Actress. She is best known for her roles in Lost Heart, Wild Faith, and Malicious, with AI Jesus, Rom-Coms Must Die, and Wild Faith Christmas set for release in 2026. With a background in theater, Melissa’s most recent stage role was in 2008, when she portrayed Gwendolyn Pigeon in The Odd Couple, showcasing a polished British dialect. She transitioned to screen soon after, booking a supporting role in the HBO pilot Night Moves. In 2009, she achieved SAG eligibility through projects including The Domino Effect. Since then, Melissa has appeared in 40 films, five television series, and numerous commercials. In addition to acting, she has built a long career behind the camera, with 15 years of producing experience, as well as writing, co-directing, and performing in a sketch-driven comedy television series. She also wrote, co-produced, and starred in the pilot Paid Programming, and continues to work as an actor-producer with Collective Development Inc.
