Michael Cain is an award-winning producer and media strategist known for impactful storytelling across film, television, and live events. His notable works include TV Junkie (2006), Jobs (2013), The Starck Club (2014), and Environmental Symphony - The Movement (2023). He is the founder or co-founder of numerous cultural and media initiatives, including Arts Fighting Cancer, Deep Ellum Film Festival, Santa Monica Drive-In at the Pier, Lone Star Drive-In, AFI DALLAS International Film Festival, Dallas Film Society, Best of Fests North Texas, EarthxFilm, EarthXR, and EarthxTV. His mission centers on Media that Matters, creating projects that inspire change and elevate voices. Most recently, Cain has expanded his portfolio with women-focused projects, including The Melody Maids Movie, a feature film celebrating the legacy of an all-female performance troupe, and Balance, a docuseries exploring women’s health and the perimenopause journey-shedding light on an often-overlooked chapter in women’s lives and fostering conversations around wellness, resilience, and empowerment. These works reflect his commitment to amplifying women’s narratives and driving meaningful dialogue. In addition to film and television, Cain has produced groundbreaking live multimedia experiences combining film, symphonic music, and narration in collaboration with Sibylle Szaggars Redford, Robert Redford, and the United Nations. He continues to innovate at the intersection of art and advocacy. Michael Cain has been married to Melina McKinnon Cain since November 22 and December 31, 2004. They live in Colorado with their two children. He is currently in development of a new collaborative event Best of Fests Colorado.
