Approachable and kind in personality yet often dark or menacing in appearance, Michael Draper has worked within a wide range of genres - from NBC's Grimm to IFC's Portlandia. His ability to quickly shift from the 'good guy' to the 'bad guy' allows him to comfortably occupy characters that are as hard-nosed or emotionally broken as they are compassionate or inviting. With a background in Meisner, he has trained with Jana Lee Hamblin (Portland) and John Rosenfeld (Los Angeles) to work opposite leading actors such as Kevin Costner, Woody Harrelson, Bitsie Tulloch, Chris Klein, Thora Birch, and Anthony Michael Hall. A prolific voice actor, Michael has given life to audio books for independent fiction publications. Michael is based in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife and daughter. For recreation he enjoys hiking, visiting the beach as a family, and devouring copious amounts of ice cream.
