Michael Fausti

Michael Fausti is a director, writer and actor. He was born in the U.K. and studied Literature, Art and Film at the universities of London and Kent, where he developed an interest in surrealist cinema and Arthouse Horror. Deciding to focus on filmmaking, Fausti then went on to study film, make-up and visual effects at the London Academy of Film and TV. His work has played at film festivals around the world and won numerous awards. Rarely predictable and often eschewing the constraints of genre and narrative, Fausti's work has been described as "surreal", "shocking" and "a swan dive into the depths of the dark side of human behavior." He cites his cinematic influences as the films of Michael Powell, Nic Roeg, Derek Jarman and Jean Rollin.
