Michelle Daugharthy

Michelle was born in Carroll, Iowa, and loves being a mid-westerner. She dreamed of becoming an actress as a child, but opportunities were few where she lived. In eighth grade, she was cast as Gloria in a local college production of "Wait Until Dark." That solidified her desire to act! Once she moved to Kansas City, doors started to open, and now, Michelle has been in the film industry for over 25 years. She has enjoyed roles both in front of and behind the camera and has been part of many projects across the United States. She modeled in the early years of her career, but grew to find more satisfaction in acting. Michelle has appeared in numerous print and commercial ads, but her love is film. Stupid human tricks include clapping with one hand and talking with her mouth closed. (She had a lot of free time as a kid). Michelle is especially passionate about telling redemptive stories through film, and her favorite pastime is being with family, especially her husband, Jon, and three beautiful daughters.
