Michelle Orpe

Michelle Orpe is an Actress and filmmaker driven by character-led storytelling and atmospheric worlds. As co-founder of Bashsisters Productions, she writes, produces, and directs independent film projects that explore identity, transformation, and the unseen. Her most recent work, Sidewinder Avenue, is a suspense horror short that she directed, produced and edited. Previously, she produced Stages, a moving short based on the true story of a couple living with Parkinson's disease. Before stepping behind the camera, she spent over 20 years as a professional TV presenter, hosting international broadcasts across terrestrial and Sky channels. From fronting the European Poker Tour, Poker Millions, and The Big Game, to covering European drag racing and stock car racing, she honed world-class live presenting, interviewing, and auto cue skills. Beyond film and TV Michelle has launched creative ventures including My Piano Method, an online piano tutorial business, and Creative Cabin Edits, an editing service specializing in Premiere Pro and After Effects. At the heart of it all she is a storyteller, whether on screen, on stage, or behind the camera, bringing stories to life while raising her two children.
