Nikolay Mutafchiev

Nikolay Mutafchiev is born on 20.10.1974. He has graduated in Acting from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia in 1999. He took master degree in movie directing in National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 2008. He made his debut as director of fiction films with the short drama "Two on the Bridge" (2006), and in 2007 won a UN subsidy for his project "You Are It". The two films have been selected for participation in various international festivals. Nikolay Mutafchiev has featured as actor in a number of foreign film productions. Between 2007 and 2009 he directed 3 of the seasons of the Survivor TV reality show. He set up his own production company PREMIERstudio, which produced his first feature length film, One More Dream.
