Odessa Rae is an Academy Award and BAFTA-winning producer who played a key role in the formation of Ivanhoe Pictures, the company behind the global box-office hit *Crazy Rich Asians*. She gained international recognition for producing *Navalny*, a CNN Films/Warner Bros. release that premiered at Sundance in 2022, winning both the Audience Award and Festival Favorite before going on to win the Academy Award and BAFTA for Best Documentary Feature. Most recently, Rae produced *The Voice of Hind Rajab*, which premiered in Competition at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, where it won the Grand Jury Silver Lion. The film went on to receive Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations. Other notable credits include the Oscar-shortlisted *Hollywoodgate*, which premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, and *It Doesn't Matter*, directed by Josh Mond, which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Her films have earned numerous honors, including the Academy Award, BAFTA, Producers Guild Award, Columbia DuPont Award, Grierson Award, Cinema Eye Honors, Critics Choice Awards, a Directors Guild nomination, a Golden Globe nomination, and a Peabody nomination. In 2023, she received the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Impact Through Film Award.
