Rachael Ancheril

Rachael is a Canadian screen actress who first gained attention on Rookie Blue with her portrayal of Marlo Cruz, a police officer living with bipolar disorder. The role marked an early breakthrough and depicted mental health within a network procedural. She is also recognized for her portrayal of Commander Nhan on Star Trek: Discovery, appearing across Seasons 2 through 4. The character was first introduced aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise under Captain Pike before transferring to the U.S.S. Discovery, where she became the ship’s Security Chief. Her television work also includes recurring guest roles on Chucky, Wynonna Earp and Killjoys, as well as regular roles in Nurses, The Art of More opposite Kate Bosworth and Mary Kills People, where she portrayed Lucy Oliviera, a terminally ill patient. She is part of the key cast of Netflix’s holiday romantic action feature Guarding Stars.
